Dear Madam/Sir,

I am writing in to commend SI Abdul Rashid and CPL Robin Ang from the Tanglin Police Division for their actions.

On Sat, 1 Aug 2009 at 10.30am, I parked my scooter at … . I accidentally left the keys in my ignition switch before … .

The two officers discovered my error and took some time to try and contact me on my mobile phone and at my home number but to no avail. Finally, they ventured to … look for me, and found me at around 11.30am.

I am impressed by their diligence, as they obviously took great pains to return my keys to me. I also find their care and concern very heartwarming and am glad to have Police Officers like them around.

I would appreciate it greatly if you could please convey my gratitude to them. If it is possible, you may want to highlight this letter to the rest of your Police Force too. In my opinion, SI Abdul and CPL Ang are fine examples of what Police Officers should be like.
